The Carpenter will be responsible for:

– Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials

– Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures including frameworks, roofs, floors, doors, and windows

– Building concrete formwork and installing framing for residential and commercial projects

– Ensuring all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and safety regulations

– Operating hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and efficiently

– Collaborating with other trades and construction team members on site

Skills:

– Proficient in using carpentry hand tools and power tools

– Strong measuring, cutting, and assembly skills

– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

– Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

– Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards

– Knowledge of different materials, methods, and tools used in carpentry

Requirements:
– Get your work permit from Bookworm Staffing

– Minimum 2-3 years of carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction

– Proven track record of quality workmanship

– Physically fit and able to perform manual labour

– Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
