Job Title: Dance Teacher / Choreographer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

About the Role

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and passionate Dance Instructor/Choreographer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will work with young children, introducing them to the joy of dance through fun, structured, and age-appropriate activities.
You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, preparing choreography for school performances, and nurturing each child’s confidence, coordination, and love for movement in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver exciting dance classes for children ages 3–6 years.
Choreograph routines for school productions, assemblies, and special events.
Encourage creativity, self-expression, and teamwork among pupils.
Ensure that all activities are conducted in line with child protection and safeguarding policies.
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with children, parents, and staff.
Contribute to the wider creative life of the school.
Requirements

A background in Dance, Choreography, or Performing Arts.
Experience teaching or working with young children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
Commitment to child protection, safeguarding, and promoting the welfare of children.
Female candidates are encouraged to apply due to the age group and nature of the role.
Desirable:

Certification or training in early years education, child development, or performing arts.
Familiarity with different dance styles (ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, traditional, etc.).
Salary
N250,000 – N400,000 monthly.
