Job Title: Hostel Matron

Location: Rivers
Position Type: Full-time (Residential)

Key Responsibilities

• Student Welfare: Act as a nurturing figure, providing emotional support and care to students.
• Security & Discipline: Ensure a safe environment, enforce hostel rules, and monitor student behavior.
• Hygiene & Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the hostel premises and ensure students maintain personal hygiene.
• Onboarding of new hostel parents.

Qualifications

• Qualification: BA / BSc / HND qualification.
• Experience: at least 5 years
• Experience in child care, supervision, and guidance.
• Strong organizational and managerial skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle disciplinary issues and conflicts effectively.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices.
• Empathetic and nurturing attitude towards students.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or childcare.
• Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
