We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Sagamu Interchange, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

  • The accountant is expected to manage daily financial transactions, monitors inventory, analyzes production costs, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
  • This role involves managing the high volume of raw materials (chemicals, plastics, fluids) and finished goods associated with IV bag or pharmaceutical production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Accounting & Inventory Management: Tracking costs of materials, labor, and overhead to determine the cost of goods sold (COGS). This involves auditing inventory accuracy, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished infusion products.
  • Production Analysis: Analyzing production efficiency and reporting on gross margins.
  • Financial Reporting & Closing:Carrying outmonth-end and year-end closings, preparing profit and loss statements, and reconciling bank statements.
  • Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensuring all financial procedures adhere to company policies, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and potentially QMS (Quality Management System) or ISO standards related to manufacturing.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Processing vendor invoices (for raw materials) and managing customer invoicing.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Development of operational budgets and financial forecasts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is strongly preferred
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and advanced Excel skills are critical.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets regarding inventory, costs, and margins.
  • Knowledge of import permit processing
