Job Title: Class Room Assistant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, reinforcing learning concepts as directed by the teacher.
Prepare, organise, and maintain classroom resources, materials, and learning environments.
Assist with the creation of engaging displays and teaching aids.
Support the delivery of lessons by setting up equipment, facilitating activities, and managing pupil transitions.
Promote the welfare of children and adhere to all school safeguarding policies and procedures.
Essential Criteria

Proven experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting.
A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, staff, and parents.
Ability to follow instructions, work effectively as part of a team, and use initiative when appropriate.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills to support core subjects.
A firm understanding of, and commitment to, safeguarding and child protection.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
