URGENT VACANCY
Operations Manager – Dry Cleaning Factory
Location: OPIC Estate (After Berger)
Salary: 250,000-300,000
Minimum of 4 Years experience in Operations Management
Job Responsibilities
* Oversee end-to-end daily operations of the dry-cleaning factory to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
* Ensure all garments are processed and ready within a 72-hour turnaround time without compromising quality standards.
* Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all operational units.
* Monitor production workflow and identify, analyze, and resolve bottlenecks promptly.
* Ensure zero or minimal missing garment cases through proper tracking and accountability systems.
* Supervise machine operations to ensure all equipment is functional, well-maintained, and downtime is minimized.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with health and safety standards.
* Ensure staff maintain professional conduct and high service standards at all times.
* Drive team performance to consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
* Ensure customer preferences and garment care instructions are strictly followed.
* Proactively communicate with customers regarding delays, service issues, or special handling requirements.
* Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports with accurate data and insights.
* Ensure all operational reports and records are up-to-date and properly documented.
* Monitor and control operational costs while maintaining high service quality.
* Collaborate with HR on recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
* Lead and coordinate manpower planning to ensure optimal staffing levels across shifts.
* Continuously improve processes and systems for better productivity and service delivery.
Skills & Requirements
* Strong understanding and practical experience with basic ERP systems (for tracking operations, inventory, and reporting).
* Solid knowledge of operations management, including manpower planning, KPI development, and strategic execution.
* Customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on service excellence.
* Proven ability to enforce compliance with policies, procedures, and SOPs.
* Strong inventory management knowledge (tracking, reconciliation, shrinkage control).
* Excellent people management and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting, analysis, dashboards).
* Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented.
* Strong communication skills (both internal team and customer-facing).
