Job Summary

We are looking for a professional and customer-oriented inbound call center operator with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing microfinance team in Nigeria.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, the ability to handle a high volume of calls, and preferably hands-on experience with inbound calls in debt collection or loan servicing.
This role is critical to ensuring excellent customer service, efficient handling of inquiries, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Handle incoming calls from customers regarding loans, repayments, account status, and general inquiries
Provide accurate information about products, payment options, and policies
Support customers with payment-related issues and assist in resolving problems
Communicate with customers professionally and empathetically, especially in sensitive financial situations
Document all calls and accurately update information in CRM systems
Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), such as call quality, response time, and resolution rates
What You Will Do:

Handle inbound calls related to loans, repayments, and account support
Provide accurate information and efficiently resolve customer inquiries
Assist customers in identifying payment solutions and next steps
Maintain detailed call documentation in CRM systems
Achieve KPIs and call quality standards.
Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a call center operator (inbound calls required)
Experience in debt collection, loan servicing, or financial services support is preferred
Excellent spoken English skills (knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage)
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
Strong listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills and experience with CRM systems or call center software.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in microfinance, lending, fintech, or banking is highly desirable
Knowledge of debt collection regulations and customer service standards
Experience working in high-volume call environments with structured KPIs.
